Voter ID is now law!

NC Supreme Court allows the 2018 Constitutional amendment approved by 55% of NC voters to become law.

The North Carolina Supreme Court has upheld the right of North Carolina citizens to choose how the state functions, by reversing decisions that blocked a requirement for Voter ID in elections.

In November 2018, North Carolinians approved a constitutional amendment to require ID to vote by over 55%.  Through Judicial Activism, the will of the people has been delayed.  Friday April 28, 2023, the NC Supreme Court overturned the previous decisions, and ruled that Voter ID can become part of the North Carolina Constitution.

North Carolina joins 36 other states with Voter ID requirements.
